Announcement

This is the announcement for the Second Annual Conference of the Prairie Network for
Research in Mathematical Sciences
and the Student Workshop in Algebra and Combinatorics.
The main objective of the Prairie Network is to help encourage and advance research in the
mathematical sciences in Saskatchewan and Manitoba.  In addition to presentations on research
activity, the meeting and workshop will provide an opportunity for students and faculty at prairie
universities to meet face to face and discuss issues and initiatives related to the network.  This
proposal for a regional network has been vetted and encouraged by the directors of PIMS
and Fields.

Prairie Discrete Mathematics Meeting  is a semi-regular regional meeting  focusing on
pure and applied Combinatorics and Discrete Mathematics.
